D’Argifral donates a portable Snoezelen to CHC Heusy
After an extraordinary year in terms of health in 2020, a year we probably never thought we’d experience, D’Argifral decided to replace the traditional end-of-year gifts to its customers with a strong gesture in favor of solidarity: the presentation of a donation to the Clinique CHC Heusy.
Philippe Van Damme, Managing Director of D’Argifral, handed over the donation on Tuesday December 22, 2020, at CHC Heusy, in the presence of Frédéric Carrier, Clinic Director, Bernard Destexhe, Director of Nursing, and several representatives, initiators of the project.
By providing financial support for this regional hospital, our company is demonstrating its solidarity with the hospital sector, which has been under great strain in recent months. This donation is also in line with two values we hold dear at D’Argifral: health and locality.
D’Argifral’s donation to CHC Heusy will be used to purchase a portable Snoezelen system. Snoezelen is a multi-sensory stimulation system designed to bring patients into a state of relaxation. This system uses music, light and aromatherapy to place anxious, agitated or terminally ill patients in a reassuring environment.
Apéro Cochon by D’Argifral had already put the end of 2020 under the sign of solidarity by offering Ficelles d”Ardenne to the Herve CPAS in mid-December. This enabled our sausages to be slipped into the solidarity parcels distributed by the CPAS.
Just as D’Argifral was able to help the ASBL “Chaînes de Services et D’Amitié” by donating its products to enhance the end-of-year buffet for the underprivileged.
Hopefully, this will warm the hearts of those who ended the year in difficulty.
